Tranquil Pond Gives Year-Round Delight
What started as a typical front yard with obligatory grass and
flower beds grew into a year-round meditation on the tranquility
of water at this Portland home. Behind the front gate that separates
this retreat from the rest of the world, Creative Landscapes
installed a formal pond to complement the owner’s Tropics-influenced
garden. Made of a heavy duty plastic liner and edged with rustic
basalt stone, the pond is a dramatic focal point of the outdoor
landscaped environment, bringing pleasure to the gardener whether
indoors and out.
