New Lawn from Seed
New construction presents the opportunity to envision an outdoor
living space from the very beginning stages. This property abuts
a forested greenspace and the owners wanted to create a natural
transition from wild to cultivated. Creative Landscapes planted
this lush expanse of lawn from a seed mix customized for shady
environments and gave the perimeter a curvilinear outline to
avoid any straight lines or angles. We completed the landscape
with native plantings, boulders that had been excavated from
the site, and a bamboo screen to provide privacy from neighbors.
It’s a verdant personal oasis that meets the needs of a
suburban family.
